Samuhik Upanayan 2019 organised by GSB Seva Mandal was held on Sunday|January 20, 2019 at Shree Guru Ganesh Prasad, Near Sion Fort, Sion(E), Mumbai. H.H Shrimath Samyamindra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan, graced the occasion and blessed the Vatus with Yajnopaveeta and Tapta Mudradharana.
Upanayana or threading ceremony is the most important ritual which is to be carried out for a Brahmana. For the past 29 years, GSB Seva Mandal has been conducting Samuhik Upanayana annually where in all the arrangements for the Upanayana of the eligible Vatu’s of the Samaj are done by the Mandal. Mandal is fortunate to have the presence and blessings of Mathadhipati of Sri Kashi Math Samsthan in each year of the function.
