A National Seminar on Kashi Math and Guruparampara is being organized by Sukrtindra Oriental Research Institute in connection with H.H.Srimad Sukrtindra Tirtha Swamiji’s Sanyasa Deeksha Centenary Celebrations with the Blessings of H.H.Srimad Sudhindra Tirtha Swamiji. H.H.Srimad Samyamindra Tirtha Swamiji will grace the Seminar by His august presence.

The Seminar will cover the following subjects :
Sri Vedavyasa
History of Kuladevata System
Sri Madhvacharya and Dvaita Vedanta
Sri Kashi Math – Origin and History, Dharma Gurus, Customs and Traditions, Rituals, Role of Sri Kashi Math in the Spiritual and Social development of the Society
Call for Talks/Papers :
In addition to invited talks, there will be paper presentations on the given subjects. Those who wish to present papers may send the abstracts of the papers to the General Convener latest by 30th November 2013. Authors of selected abstracts will present their papers at the seminar. They will have to send the soft copy of their full papers by 31st December 2013. The proceedings of the Seminar will be published.

Participants will be provided local hospitalities free of cost.
Accomadation :
Accommodation for outstation participants can be arranged at city hotels on payment. Request should reach the General Convener not later than 30th November 2013 along with preference.
Registration Fee :
Registration fee is Rs.500/-. Payments, either by local Cheque or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Sukrtindra Oriental Research Institute payable at Ernakulam, may be sent to the General Convener.

It is also proposed to publish a Souvenir in early 2014 to mark the Centenary of Ashrama Sweekara of Srimad Sukrtindra Tirtha Swamiji of Shri Kashi Math Samsthan. The Souvenir will contain good articles, photographs and some advertisements, and will be a volume worth collecting.
