Jeernodhara of Karkala Shri Kashi Math

Dear Samaj Bhandavas,

It is widely known about the Jeernodhara of “Padutirupathi” Shree Venkataramana Temple (Karkala), being carried out as per the divine guidance and blessings of H.H Shrimath Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadhipati of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan.

While the Jeernodhara work of the temple is in good progress, it has been the urge of the devotees to go for the reconstruction of Karkala Shri Kashi Math simultaneously. Owing to the desire of the devotees H.H Swamiji has consented for the reconstruction of Karkala Shri Kashi Math, branch of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan. In the past also, the math was renovated twice, back in 1969 AD and 1990 AD. It is our good fortune that the jeernodhara of the Temple and the Math in Karkala is going to take place during our life time.

The Jeernodhara has commenced with Kalasankocha vidhi and Balalaya Pratisthapana of Sri Mukhyaprana along with the presiding deities of Karkala Shri Kashi Math near Sheshatirtha Mantapa on June 15, 2015. The existing Math is being dismantled for the same.

Foundation stone for the proposed math building will be laid with blessings of H.H Shrimath Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji by the august hands of His Patta Shishya H.H Shrimath Samyamindra Thirtha Swamiji on August 2, 2015. H.H Shishya Swamiji will be visiting Karkala from their Koteshwar Mokkam.
