H.H Shrimath Yadavendra (III) Thirtha Swamiji
Since Shrimath Jnaneendra Thirtha Swamiji passed away while his Guru was still alive, the latter had initiated another vatu into sanyasa and named him Shrimath Yadavendra (III) Thirtha, who unfortunately passed away on Phalguna Bahula Dviteeya of Nandana Samvatsara, Sh. Sh. 1694 corresponding to Wednesday, 10th March 1773 in Honnavar (Shri Venkataramana Temple), about two years before his Guru entered Vrindavan in Walkeshwar. He had to take another Shishya-Swami and named him Shrimath Upendra (II) Thirtha, who became the tenth Swamiji of Shree Kashi Math Samsthan. This Swamiji also had to initiate litigation. H.H Shri Swamiji had initiated a vatu into sanyasa and called him Shrimath Rajendra Thirtha. Later he attained Maha Samadhi on Margha Shuddha Saptami of Virodhikritu Samvatsar, Sh. Sh. 1713 corresponding to Friday, 2nd December 1791 in Banaras and as usual, his mortal remains were offered to the sacred river Ganga.
